Rupee gains 15 paise against US dollar in early trade

The Indian rupee appreciated by 15 paise to 44.44 rupees against the US dollar in early trade on Tuesday. It had closed at 44.59 rupees against the greenback in the previous session. Sensex ends at 19,702
