The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange closed with a good gain of 281 points, or 1.5 percent, at 19,702, today, on renewed broad-based buying by investors, and a largely positive trend in the regional markets. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange advanced 82 points, or 1.4 percent, to 5,908.
