Urdu poet Umar Qureshi dies

The noted Urdu poet Umar Qureshi died in Gorakhpur in UP on Tuesday. He was 80. He was known for his classic Urdu poetry and songs on national integration. He had many honours including one from UP State Urdu Academy to his credit. He was buried in Gorakhpur this afternoon. <br/>
