Vehicular traffic in the Bastar division of Chhattisgarh has been affected due to the 48 hours bandh call given by the Maoists in five states. Inter state bus services to the adjoining states like Jharkhand and Andhra Pradesh have been cancelled as a security measure. Police patrolling along the border areas has been intensified. Important public places like the railway stations; bus stands etc have been kept under police vigil to avert any eventualities. No untoward incident has so far been reported from any part of the state.<br/>
