Government today said that mobile services for the Amarnath pilgrims would be provided before the 30th of June. According to the Minister of State for Communications and IT, Sachin Pilot, 9 mobile towers will be installed by BSNL in the region out of which 4 will be on the motorable road and the rest on the pony track. He said that mobile connectivity would help the pilgrims, local residents, administration and the security forces. At present, mobile services are not available in the area.<br/>
