In Uttarakhand, incessant rain has hampered the normal life. Three persons were feared died in Haridwar due to rain. The MET department predicted heavy rain may occur in some parts of the state in next 24 hours.

In Jammu and Kashmir, the ongoing annual Amarnath Yatra has been temporarily suspended today morning due to overnight rainfall around holy cave. The rain has resulted into slippery tracks leading to holy cave but helicopter service from both Baltal and Chandanwari is operating as usual.
