Oil prices fell in Asian trade today. New York's light sweet crude lost seven cents to 88.55 dollars a barrel and Brent North Sea crude fell eight cents to 92.12 dollars per barrel. Dealers said the fall in oil prices is due to a huge decline in US crude inventories.
