Centre extends ban on bulk SMS and MMS messages till Sept 29

Government today extended ban on bulk SMS and MMS messages till 29th of this month on all telecom networks. Earlier, the ban was ordered for 72 hours. The decision to this effect has been taken by the Ministry of Communications in consultation with the Home Ministry.
