Rupee settles 18 paise lower at Rs 73.79 against US dollar

The rupee pared initial gains to settle 18 paise lower at 73 rupees and 79 paise against the US dollar. In intra-day trade, Brent crude prices were trading around 41 dollars and 90 cents per barrel while WTI crude prices were around 40 dollars and 20 cents per barrel.
