Oil prices were above 82 dollars a barrel in Asian trade today. New York's light sweet crude lost 21 cents to 82.33 dollars a barrel while Brent North Sea crude eased 29 cents to 83.31dollars a barrel .Analysts said the prices were down as traders took profit from a rally the day before.
