The rupee appreciated by 4 paise to 44.30 rupees against a US dollar at the Interbank Foreign Exchange market in the morning trade today. It ended flat at 44.34 rupees a dollar in the previous session. Dealers said the strengthening of rupee is on the back of strong FII inflows and appreciating Asian currencies against dollar.
