The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange shot up by 388 points to close at 20,260 crossing again the psychological level of 20,000 point. Positive cues from European and US markets led the spectacular gains. The NIFTY at the National Stock Exchange also gained 119 points to close at 6101.The BSE midcap index gained over 113 points to close at 8403 and the BSE Small cap index advanced by 109 to close at 10691.
