BSE Sensex up by 194 points in afternoon trade

The BSE benchmark Sensex which opened at 163 points advanced further by 194 points up at 18,239 points in afternoon trade.Similarly, the broad-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index too was up 45 points, at 5,470 points.
