Sensex plunges 345 pts

The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange fell 345 points, or 2.2 percent, to 15,491, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange lost 95 points, or 2 percent, to 4,652. But Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore rose between 0.3 percent and 2 percent.

Sensex trades 102 pts up in afternoon trade
