Govt declines bailout pvt airlines

Government has again declined to bail out private airlines facing cash crunch. Reiterating its stand, Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh said in New Delhi that the centre will not pursuade banks to lend money to cash-strapped Kingfisher Airlines. He said the airline must stick to its schedule .

DTC parl panel mulls raising IT limit to Rs 3 lakh

A Parliamentary panel has adopted Direct Taxes Code. According to PTI, the panel on DTC is for raising income tax exemption limit to 3 lakh from 1.8 lakh rupees.The panel will submit its report within a week.
