Procurement of foodgrains is the highest ever in 2020-21: Govt

Government on Friday said the procurement of foodgrains is the highest ever in 2020-21. The country has procured over 869 lakh tonnes of paddy during current Kharif Marketing Season and over 433 lakh tonnes of wheat during Rabi Marketing Season 2021-22, which is the highest ever procured.
