Men's World WC: Belgium enter semis; India lose to Netherland

In the Men's Hockey World Cup, India on Thursday lost to Netherlands 2-1 in a quarter-final encounter at Bhubaneswar. Netherlands will clash with Australia in the Semifinals on Saturday.  In Thursday's another quarterfinal, Belgium defeated Germany 2-1.  With this win, Belgium has secured a berth in the semifinals.  They will take on England on Saturday in the semifinals.

In the Men's Hockey World Cup, two-time defending champions Australia scored three goals in the final quarter to beat England by a comfortable 3-0 margin and register their second consecutive win in Pool-B at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.
