Global equity markets, Asia Pacific end lower

In global equity markets, Asia Pacific ended lower today.   So, Hong Kong's Hang Seng index declined 1.3 percent; Singapore's Straits Times index dropped 1 percent and South Korea's Kospi index fell 0.7 percent.   Stock markers in Japan and China were closed for a holiday, today.   In Europe, France's CAC-40 had risen 0.6 percent and Germany's DAX had climbed 0.8 percent in intra-day trade.   Stocks markets in UK were closed for a holiday.   Brent cru...
