NTPC Q1 profit up 12 pc to Rs 2,618 cr

State-run NTPC, today, posted a 12 percent rise in standalone profit after tax at 2,618 crore rupees for the first quarter on higher revenues. NTPC's total revenue increased to 20,542 crore rupees, over 19,221 crore rupees in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
