Rupee weakens 33 paise to Rs 73.44 against dollar

The rupee, at the foreign exchange market, today weakened 33 paise to 73 rupees and 44 paise against the US dollar. The dollar index, which indicates the US dollar's strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, also fell 0.13 percent to 93.11.
