Gold prices on Thursday gained 60 rupees per 10 gram at Multi Commodity Exchange for April contracts. Gold futures were trading around 44,700 rupees per ten gram. Silver futures also added 150 rupees to trade at around 63,970 rupees per kilogram for May contracts.
In global markets, gold was trading at 1,719 dollars and 70 cents per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange while silver was at 24 dollars and 50 per ounce.
