Oil prices today fell for a third day in a row amid uncertainty over supply after the collapse this week of talks among major producers. In intra-day trade, Brent crude prices were trading around USD 73.10 per barrel while WTI crude prices were around USD 71.80 per barrel.

The Rupee today weakened nine paise to close at Rs 74.71 against the US dollar. The Dollar index, which indicates the US Dollar's strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, fell 0.22 per cent to trade at 92.44 in intra-day trade.
