Sensex closes at 18,645 gaining 85 pts

Rising for the second straight session, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange gained 85 points or 0.5 percent, to 18,645, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange rose 27 points, or 0.5 percent, to 5,604.Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore ended mixed.
