Rupee down by 12 paise against dollar

The rupee depreciated by 12 paise to 45.65 against the dollar in early trade today. Dealers said, dollar gains against other Asian currencies put pressure on the rupee. The rupee had ended 8 paise lower at 45.54 against the dollar yesterday.
