Food inflation has fallen to single digit at 9.52 per cent for week ended February 26. It had stood at 10.39 per cent in the previous week.

Rupee down by 15 paise against US dollar

The Indian rupee dropped by 15 paise to 45.15 against the US dollar in early trade on Thursday. The Indian rupee resumed lower at 45.05 per dollar as against Wednesday's close of 45.00 per dollar and dropped further to 45.15 per dollar before quoting at 45.09 per dollar.
