The BSE benchmark Sensex was trading 79 points up at 18072 in noon trade on Tuesday, it had regained the 18000 points level in opening trade. The wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index also traded 23 points up to 5409.

Oil prices rebounded in Asian trade on Tuesday. New York's main contract, light sweet crude for July delivery, gained 30 cents to 98 USD a barrel. The Brent North Sea crude for July delivery rose 61 cents to 110.71 USD.
