Oil lower in Asia trade

Oil price was lower in Asia today. New York's main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in August, fell 21 cents to 85.87 dollars a barrel and Brent North Sea crude for August delivery shed 12 cents to 100.95 dollars a barrel.
