Peru urges Indian bizmen to invest in country

India and Peru will be signing two MOUs on Cooperation in geology and mineral resources and for setting up of a Centre of Excellence of Information Technology. Secretary (West) in the Ministry of External Affairs M Ganapathi will hold the 4th round of Foreign Office Consultations with the visiting dignitary of Peru today. Earlier, Peru urged Indian businessmen to invest in that country. Addressing a business meeting in New Delhi yesterday, visiting Vice Foreign Minister Jose Beraun Aranibar said that the country offers excellent opportunities for investment in energy, agriculture, mining, petrochemicals and refining sectors. Mr Aranibar is on a two-day official visit to India.
