Rupee loses 12 paise to quote 59.78 against dollar

The rupee today fell by 12 paise to 59 rupees 78 paise against the dollar in early trade on the Interbank Foreign Exchange market. The rupee had closed two paise higher at 59 rupees 66 paise yesterday on some strength in local equities and dollar selling by exporters.
