The second phase of Zila and Taluk Panchayat election is going on in Karnataka today. 17 Zila Panchayats and 103 Taluk Panchayats are covered in this phase. An electorate of 1.54 crore will decide the fate of 9,595 candidates for 595 Zila Panchayat and 2,163 Taluk Panchayat seats. A total of 18,203 polling stations have been set up.
