In Bangladesh, the Leader of opposition Khaleda Zia, is all set to retain her post as Chairperson of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party. The returning officer for the party’s Chairperson’s election R. A. Gani said that Khaleda Zia’s nominations were the only application received before the expiry of the deadline for filing nominations. The official declaration of her election will be made at the Party’s national council meeting scheduled to be held on December 8th this year.
