In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Secretary, Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta on Friday said that zero tolerance towards corruption is the firm resolve of the J&K Government adding that technology is enabler for better and transparent functioning of Government.<br />'' <br />'' The Chief Secretary made these comments during his visit to Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) headquarters in Srinagar today.<br />'' <br />'' While interacting with the officers during the visit, Dr. Mehta emphasised upon to officers to increase the disposal of cases besides modern and innovative technologies in Anti Corruption Bureau on the lines of premier investigating agencies of the country, to bring efficiency in the working of Bureau.<br />'' <br />'' The Chief Secretary asked the officers to fix the timeline for disposal of cases as per their pending period and the cases which are less than three months old should be disposed off in a month.<br />'' <br />'' Dr. Mehta further asked the officers to use the 'SATARAK NAGRIK' effectively and the grievances received on the application should be redressed on daily basis. He directed the officers to improve the services of e-vigilance clearance portal for facilitation of employees.<br />''  <br />
