India and Czech Republic were level One-One on the first day of the Davis Cup Tennis World Group Play-off tie in New Delhi today. After Yuki Bhambri lost the opening singles, against world number 85 Lukas Rosol in straight sets 2-6, 1-6, 5-7, Somdev Devvarman brought the hosts back into the match with a 7-6, 6-4, 6-3 win over world number 40 Jiri Vesley in the second Singles. Tomorrow, Leander Paes and Rohan Bopanna will take on Radek Stepanek and Adam Pavlasek in the doubles rubber in the Best of Five Tie.The two Reverse Singles are slated for Sunday.
