Yuki Bhambri fails to seal his place in main draw of Australian Open

Yuki Bhambri failed to seal his place in the main draw of Australian Open Tennis. The Indian lost his third and final qualifying round to America's Ernesto Escobedo in Melbourne today. With this, there will be no Indian competing in the singles main draw of the first Grand Slam of the season. Other Indian in fray, Saketh Myneni had lost his first round in the Qualifiers after encountering a foot problem. India's top doubles players, led by Sania Mirza, LeanderPaes, Rohan Bopanna and the rising pair of Purav Raja and Divij Sharan will now try and make a mark in the first Grand Slam Tennis of 2017.
