Yuki Bhambri crashes out in first round of Single's event at Australian Open

India's lone entrant, Yuki Bhambri in the Single's event of season's first Grand Slam Australian Open, was ousted by Briton Andy Murray. In the first round match, Yuki lost to world number six 3-6, 4-6, 6-7. However in the double's event, Sania Mirza, Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi are the Indian players who will figure with their respective teammates.In the men's singles event so far, Spaniard Rafael Nadal, Bulgarian Gregor Dimitrov, and Czech Tomas Berdych, in the top seeds have advanced ahead in the second round. In the Women's Singles event, first upset was recorded as Serbian Ana Ivanovic, the number 5 seed, has been beaten in three sets by Czech qualifier Lucie Hradecka, 6-1, 3-6, 2-6.
