India's top seeded Yuki Bhambri has progressed to the quarterfinals of the International Tennis Federation ( ITF)'s Futures event being played in Houston, USA. He posted a 6-0, 7-6 win over American Gonzales Austin in the second round. This is only his fourth competitive match after returning to action following a six-month injury break. Bhambri next faces fifth seed German Sebastian Fanselow. Futures tournaments allow young professionals to win career titles and improve their rankings to progress to the ATP Challenger and World tours. Futures are held in both singles and doubles and last only one week.
