Life in Srinagar city is crippled today amid protests against killing of a youth last evening. A twelfth class student was killed in Rajoury Kadal area of interior city. <br/><br/>After the killing of the youth, there were protests in the area and sensing more trouble the authorities have imposed restrictions on the movement of public in the downtown and deployed forces in large numbers. <br/><br/>In civil lines area and other parts of the city a spontaneous bandh is being observed against the killing and there have been incidents of stone pelting. AIR correspondent reports that, Separatist leader syed Ali Gilani has been taken into custody by the police.
