A 100 member delegation of youth from Bangladesh today called on the President Pranab Mukharjee at Rashtrapati Bhavan. On this occasion, Mr. Mukharjee appreciated the initiative taken by the High Commission of India in Dhaka for organizing this visit and pointed out that half of the population in both the countries belongs to the younger generation. He said that human beings from all countries across the world have only one religion, that is, the religion of humanism. The basic objective of the programme is to foster goodwill and understanding of each other’s countries, promote exchange of ideas, international understanding, values and culture among the youth of two countries.
