President Pratibha Devisingh Patil on Sunday said the youth are the future of the country. She said this while interacting with school children from Kupwara, Srinagar and Delhi who participated in Peace Cricket Matches in New Delhi over the past two days. An official release said, the President, who met the children, at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, said she was happy that they had participated in a sports activity, which is a good platform for the youth. The children's participation in these matches was organised by the Guild for Service, which had earlier organised such matches in Jammu and Kashmir. The President appreciated the efforts of the Guild for Service.
