Youth Affairs and Sports Ministry has formed an Oversight Committee to enquire into the allegations of sexual misconduct, harassment and financial irregularities in the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI), levelled by prominent sportspersons. The Committee will also undertake the day-to-day administration of the Wrestling Federation of India, during the course of the enquiry. The decision has been taken to safeguard the interest of athletes and to promote good governance in the federation.<br />''<br />''The Oversight Committee will be headed by Khel Ratna Awardee and Chairperson, Athletes Commission M C Mary Kom. The others members include Khel Ratna Awardee Yogeshwar Dutt and Dhyanchand awardee Trupti Murgunde.
