Young talent of the country will be asset, if they have jobs: President

President Pranab Mukherjee today said that the young talent of the country will be an asset, if they have jobs. He was addressing the 'Annual Day Celebrations of CII Chhindwara Skill Training Center' at Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh. <br/><br/>He said that India with the second largest population in the world will face a challenge in the coming years. The president said that half of India's population will be below 25 years of age. <br/><br/>The President said to avail jobs and opportunities, development of talent is essential. Mr Mukherjee said that the universities and colleges produce a large number of graduates every year, however most of them are unemployable. <br/><br/>The President said economic growth in the advanced countries of the world, most of whom have ageing populations is low. He emphasised that emerging economies like India and China are however witnessing rapid economic growth, which will present new opportunities for the youth. In the function, Governor Mr. O.P.Kohli and M.P. Kamal Nath were also presented among other dignitaries.
