The young Indian team is very eager to do well in a Test series, Captain Virat Kohli told reporters in Galle a day ahead of the first Test against the hosts Sri Lanka.Interacting with the press after the morning practice session, Kohli said that this was his first full series as a captain and he wants to do well with his young team. The dashing batsman said that in the past, the problem has been maintaining composure at critical times and that the team has been working on this aspect. He said that the key to winning in Tests is to take 20 wickets. He added that the bowlers are performing well in the nets and he is hopeful of positive results.Replying to a question on the preparedness of the Sri Lankan team, Kohli said that there is hunger in the eyes of the Sri Lankan boys and though they may not be too expressive, the young side is expected to come hard at the visitors.The first of the three Test match series between Sri Lanka and India starts in the port city of Galle tomorrow. The last two tests will be played in Colombo. India has not won a Test series in Sri Lanka for the last 22 years.
