You Tube to broadcast London Olympics live: IOC

Fans in Africa and Asia, including India, will be able to enjoy live coverage of the London Olympic Games starting from 27th of next month on YouTube. This was announced by the International Olympic Committee today. Viewers from 64 territories in the two continents will be able to watch the streams on IOC's YouTube channel which will also be accessible online or internet enabled devices. The IOC media release said there will be 10 live feeds from London, running from 1.30 p.m IST though on some days the feed will start early or finish later based on competition schedule. There will also be a 24-hour broadcast of the Olympic News Channel. In total, the IOC's YouTube channel will offer over 2,200 hrs. of sporting event coverage from London Olympics 2012.
