Yom-e-Ashura is being observed today to mark the martyrdom of Imam Hussain, the grandson of prophet Mohammad.

Tazia processions will be taken out in various parts of the country to mark the day. In Delhi, Tazia processions from different places in the National Capital will culminate at Karbala.
