Yoga Guru Ramdev today broke his six-day fast at Ambedkar Stadium in the national capital by sipping a glass of juice offered by children. He was on fast, demanding the Centre bring back black money stashed abroad and control corruption. Ending the protest, Ramdev headed for his ashram in Haridwar and his supporters also started vacating the stadium.
Yesterday, Ramdev was detained near Ranjit Singh flyover by the Delhi Police for violating prohibitory orders along with his supporters when they tried to march towards Parliament to press for his demands. After the detention, Ramdev and his supporters were taken to Ambedkar Stadium where they were released from detention by the Police last evening.
