Yemen's President dismisses entire Cabinet

Yemen's President has dismissed the entire Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Ali Mujawar. Yemen’s official news agency Sabanet says, the decree issued by President mandates the government to continue to conduct the ordinary general affairs till new government assumes office. Observers say that step has been taken in an apparent attempt to avoid the embarrassment on a possible mass resignation, the ministers were planning after the bloody crackdown on anti-government demonstrators. Yemen's ambassador to the United Nations and its human rights minister have already resigned to protest the crackdown. Tens of thousands of people joined a funeral procession on Sunday for killed protesters and the Yemeni president's own tribe called on him to step down. Yemen’s President Ali Abdullah Saleh is facing a month long popular uprising by crowds demanding his ouster.
