Yemen says it had not suspended counter-terrorism operations with the United States, despite controversy over a US commando raid on al Qaeda militants in which several civilians were also killed.<br/><br/>In a statement, the Yemeni embassy in Washington said, the Government has not suspended any programs with regards to counter-terrorism operations in Yemen with the United States. However, the statement said, the Government reiterates its firm position that any counter-terrorism operations carried out in Yemen should continue to be in consultation with the authorities and have precautionary measures to prevent civilian casualties.<br/><br/>Several civilians including women and children were killed in the last month raid in al-Bayda province, approved by the new US President Donald Trump. The raid also left one Navy SEAL dead and an American aircraft a charred wreck.
