Yemeni army today said its forces killed 59 Shiite rebels and made great progress in the ongoing battles in northern Yemen. Official news agency SABA said the forces killed 37 rebels in the northern city of Anad and wounded several others while they were attempting to infiltrate into the suburbs of Saada province. <br/><br/>It said 12 rebels were killed in separate clashes with the army in Saada, while ten others killed in the mountainous area of Harf Sufian when the army destroyed a vehicle carrying them to attack military forces. Meanwhile, an unidentified local source told Saba that Houthi rebels kidnapped seven teachers in Aal al-Waqis of Saqain district and they were taken to unknown place. <br/>
