Gold price today is up marginally by 30 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for February contracts. The precious metal was trading at 55,745 rupees per 10 grams.

Silver was also up 410 rupees to trade at 68,770 rupees per kilogram for March Contracts.

In the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold was trading up at 1,881 dollars and 80 cents per ounce. Silver was also up at around 23 dollars per ounce in intra-day trade.
