Gold prices today fell 210 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for April contracts. The precious metal was trading at 48,740 rupees per 10 gram.

Silver prices declined 1050 rupees to 62,220 rupees per kilogram for March Contracts when reports last came in.

In the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold was down to trade at 1,826 US dollars and 80 cents per ounce. Silver prices were also down to trade at 23 dollars per ounce in intra-day trade.
